Hi! I really need to dedicate a quick post two great people who have recently launched equally great sites featuring equally great work.

First off is my lifelong pal and partner in crime Matt Webb. Check his site, there's some amazing stuff up there.

Next is this. The portfolio of Katherine Patton who is not only wonderful, but is also married to the aformentioned Matt. Wondering how their wedding invitations looked? Really good. Scary good.

Anyways, back to work.

I'm late to the party on this one, but if you haven't seen it all ready, go take a look at Nissan's new Journey to Zero pseudo-campaign.

Truthfully, the site is an initiative of Richard Wurman (of TED) focussed on reducing auto emissions. The site itself is masterfully executed, it's a rich experience, but never feels overwhelming. The typography is unreal, it's really worth diving deep into to discover all the goodness inside.

Check out the piece with the custom typeface by Marcus Ericksson. Brilliant!

Attn: Interested parties. I have finally rescued some of my Yo La Tengo prints from the bureaucratic void in which they have been floating. Previously they were not for sale, and now they are! So to those who are interested in purchasing one, go ahead and shoot me an email and I'll do my best to ship 'er off to you good and fast.

Also note: I've been organizing the ol' flat storage and found I've got a few Obits posters left over from this year's Sled Island that are available too! Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Maybe I should think about getting a jump on the next Royal Bison... hrmm.

Gift Eaters are pulling one final tour of the province before the pack it in. I threw together a poster for their Calgary show. Actually... three posters. This is how they're looking on the poles. Complete with six swollen tongues.

I just discovered this live performance on the YouTube! I have no recollection of ever hearing this song on a record. It's by Cymbals Eat Guitars, amazing band. "Pavement meets Kinsella" if you will.

If you haven't picked up their record yet, go get it. It's splendid.

Publisher extraordinaire Squarespace finally had it's App approved by Apple today (after many long weeks of delay). I've been waiting quite a while to get my hands on it and it's definitely been worth the wait. Probably the most polished App I've ever used for the iPhone.

The absolutely beautiful UI is courtesy of Mr. Taddeo Zacchini who has posted a really interesting writeup about the challenges and process involved in the design. Great read and huge tip of the hat to the team over at Squarespace. Amazing job.

My old arch-nemesis Andrew Benson recently rambled quite interestingly about some folks of note from Alberta's lesser stepchild, Calgary. One of those folks was myself! What a champ. Thanks Andrew!

Superpal (and fellow Veer creative) Drew Ng has got his portfolio up. Such great stuff. Go and look at it and become all jealous at it's awesomeness. Go! Now!
